IdentiGEN’s
DNA Diagnostics selected as the method of choice
IdentiGEN's
DNA testing technology has been selected as the technology of choice in
a number of recent high-profile studies - see surveys by the Irish and UK Food Control Agencies, and more recently the
BBC. IdentiGEN’s
tests were shown to be the only ones sensitive enough to consistently detect the low
amounts of target DNA present in certain processed food samples.
The
tests are designed to detect target species DNA with high precision and
at very low concentrations. They incorporate rigorous quality procedures
and an extensive range of controls to ensure the accuracy of test results.
To qualify for official control purposes the tests have had to undergo
independent third party validation.
