IdentiGEN offers a suite of bio-analytical and DNA-based services ranging from highly specialized forensic analysis to large scale overnight BSE testing. The company has developed its diagnostic capabilities to provide our customers with complete solutions to the challenges that they face in their businesses.

BSE Diagnostics

IdentiGEN offers our Irish clients ISO17025-accredited rapid BSE testing services based on tests that have been fully validated within the European Union.

GMO Diagnostics

We offer the full spectrum of qualitative and quantitative GMO tests. Our GM-detection capabilities have been validated by the EU and USDA. Our tests have also been audited to the cGMP standard required by some of our customers and are being used extensively by customers in Europe and the Middle East.

SPECIES Diagnostics

IdentiGEN routinely tests food and feed products for species-specific DNA. In addition to a full range of individual species identification tests, our tests are also capable of detecting higher taxonomic orders including bird, reptile, vertebrate, invertebrate and ruminant.

BREED CHECK

An IdentiGEN first: breed assignments of individual animals or meat samples derived from them.

ZEBUCHECK

Another IdentiGEN first: a diagnostic test used to detect and quantify the prevalence of Bos indicus genes in meat products, helping provide information on region of origin of meat products.
